Last weekend we celebrated Ama dog's birthday. Ama and Papa came over for dinner on Saturday night and then after the kids went to bed we watched a movie. It was a good time!!
I thought that we were getting over our colds now, but Gabby seems to have a snotty nose now...it's seems never ending:( Gabby has been a little fussy because of the cold, but she still sleeps great - from 8pm to 8am. I'm happy with that!! Megan is having some difficulty going to sleep at night. She usually comes out of her room a couple of times and wants to be tucked back in. We put her to bed about 7:30, but I don't think she goes to sleep until about 8:30pm. Oh well!! She has been sleeping good through the night.
We didn't do anything too exciting this week. But, this coming week we are going to be busy. I have a work Christmas party (even though I don't work anymore!!) on Wednesday night and on Thursday night I have a cookie exchange with some girl friends, and then Friday night we have Jeff's work Christmas Party. Busy, but fun!! And then on Sunday, Jeff's brother Curt, comes home for the Christmas holidays. We are very excited to see him again!!Yesterday we had a playdate with some of Meggie's friends and we made Gingerbread houses. The kids had a blast!! Although I think they were more interested in eating the candies, than in making the houses. I think the gingerbread house is a little tempting for Meggie because everytime she looks at it she asks to have a "fartie" (smartie). This morning she asked to have one even before breakfast!!
On Thursday evening, we went out shopping!! Jeff has been researching digital cameras for about a year now and so we finally bought one. Then we headed to the mall and had a quick dinner and shopped for some new "dressy" clothes for Jeff. He needs a new outfit for his Christmas party. We got him some new stylish jeans from American Eagle and a brown dress shirt. They look great on him!!
We had a couple of really warm days this past week and so the girls and I played out on the deck on the swing. Gabby hasn't been in it too much yet and she LOVED it!! She would laugh and smile the whole time.
These pictures are from Gabby's dedication day!!I can't wait to have the girls in their Christmas outfits and get some pictures!! They are so beautiful.
