Okay, I know I've been a really bad blogger lately:( Hopefully there are still some people out there who read this! Jeff has done some new improvements to our computer and has been working on it for a little bit. We were away last weekend for a little vacation. We went with Jeff's parents and Eric and Traci...Curt could not make it because he is still in school. We really missed having him there:(
We walk out our door first thing in the morning and this is the view! It's such a beautiful place.Jeff had bought a little dingy a few weeks back and we got to use it alot this weekend. Megan loved for going for boat rides with everyone! Gabby was as excited about it...she does not like to be constricted in a life jacket!
We had great weather and spent lots of time at the beach and in the water. We left on Friday morning and came home Monday morning. We had a great time. We were pretty tired by the time we came home because the girls didn't sleep as long at nighttime there as they usually do.
Gabby got a little cold a few days before we left and so she was a little cranky. Megan didn't get sick until we got home...I was glad she was feeling good there!
It was so good to see Eric and Traci again and we always have a great time with them! And Megs and Gabby just adore their uncle and aunty! We pretty much just sat in the sun, ate, read and hung out together the whole weekend. It was so relaxing!! It's always nice to go on vacation with family because there are so many people to help look after the kids:) Gabby loved to play in her kiddie pool and it kept her in one place for a while!
We are now back in our usual routine. I am going to work on Wednesday which is pretty exciting for me. I haven't worked now in about 16 months and I'm just going back for the day to help out. My mom is going to look after the kids all day...thanks so much mom, I really appreciate it! It will be nice to get dressed up in the morning and to spend the day with adults! I'm sure I will miss the girls, but it's nice to get out every once in a while. I'm also going to be working from home again a little bit too.
We have had super hot weather again and it's a little too hot for me...I prefer about 25-27 degrees. When it's above 30 I prefer to be in the air conditioning! I took the girls to the waterpark last Friday with some of our friends and the kids had a blast. The water was still cold, but they got used to it and loved it! We will definitely have to do it again. We took the girls to a park we hadn't been to before here in town last weekend and it was such a great park. So many things for the kids to do. They had 2 big enclosed tunnel slides and Megan loved them. The first few times, Jeff went down with her, but then she got brave and did it herself and didn't want to stop!Oh, and Gabby has started walking!!! We are so excited. She is still a little unstable, but she's getting better every day. She was walking around the foyer at church yesterday and she crowds of people watching her and cheering for her and she loved it. It's so cute!
I think that's all for today! Thanks for reading!

That view out of the house was great, I especially liked the one picture with Megan, and you can see the dock behind her. Beautiful shot!
