The Wedding...and so much more!

I know it's been a while since I last wrote a post, but we have been away for almost a week...and now I have lots of things to share! We left last Wednesday morning and arrived in Seattle just before dinner time. The girls did so great traveling in the car! They really impressed me:) We just hung out at Loren and Alicia's place and had dinner and then put the kids to bed. Loren and Alicia have such a cute little house and in such a nice area! There were lots of parks close by, so Meggie was in heaven:)Loren and Alicia's great little neighbourhood! We got up the next morning and were on our way to Portland. It was another day of being in the car and again the girls did great! We got to the hotel around 2pm and settled in. Jeff went out with his brothers to go to Eric's bachelor party. They went bowling and just hung out. I hung out in Jassie's room and we just chatted. I expected Jeff to get home late from the bachelor party, but around 11:30pm after I was fast asleep...I heard a knock at the door. I looked out and saw that it was Jassie. She said that Jeff had called her and said he was going to stay the night at Eric's place, but he wanted me to know so that I wouldn't worry. I was so glad Jas came and told me! The next day we did a little bit of shopping and I was so excited to go to Target and Old Navy!!
On Friday we had the dress rehearsal and dinner. It was all at the church and that was really handy because I just put Gabby down for her nap in the nursery at the church and she did great and slept! Megan did so great at the dress rehearsal going down the aisle with the other kids. The weather was so hot all weekend...really, really hot!!! The one day it hit 38 degrees!!!
Watching cartoons at the hotel!

We stayed in the same hotel with all the other people from home...so fun!! The hotel served breakfast every morning in the lobby and so we had breakfast every day with lots of our friends and family. The morning of the wedding I managed to go do some shopping without the kids...which is so much faster!! I got a really cute new bathing suit, which I am happy about because I hate bathing suit shopping. The beautiful bride!!These were all the kids in the wedding...they all did a great job!!

The wedding pictures were taken before the wedding and they were taken outside...in the HOT weather! Everyone looked so nice...especially Traci!! She looked absolutely beautiful and I am so glad that I have a new sister. The wedding was so beautiful and special. I did miss some of the ceremony because Gabby was talking so loud I had to take her out:( The reception was great as well...really good food and lots of fun! Eric and Traci are just such awesome people and their love was so evident on their special day. We love you guys lots! The happy couple!!
I must say that my husband looked so great in his tux...still the best looking guy I know!Meggie was exhausted by the end of the day:)

We went to a brunch on Sunday morning before we left to go back to Seattle. It was nice to spend a little more time with Eric and Traci and her family as well! We headed back to Seattle and stayed there until Tuesday. On Monday we went to the Seattle Zoo...which is amazing!! It was so big, we didn't get to see everything. I guess we will have to go back again to see the rest of it. Megan was very interested in everything...she said her favorite was seeing the elephants:) It really was a fun day. It was so nice that Loren and Alicia were both able to come with us!We left Seattle Tuesday morning and got home around 4pm. It was another long day of traveling and the girls were getting a little fussy towards the end. Megan just wanted to get out of her car seat and Gabby was refusing to nap:( Anyways, we are home now and are getting back into our routine again. Both girls slept 12 hours straight last night:) It was really fun to go away and it's always great to be home again. Megan said yesterday that she wanted to go home because she missed her playroom...so cute!!I know this is getting long, so I will end it now!

Looks like a lot of fun. You definitely have a great looking family. I'm planning on popping down and seeing your brother in Seattle as well while I'm out there. I'm sure I'll connect with you guys when I'm up there too.
